The Stephen H Comfort 5.0 chair is designed to ensure adequate comfort for patients of all builds during medium- and long-term surgery and therapy. With its interchangeable headrest system and numerous available accessories, this medical device is particularly suitable for minor surgery.
Through the motorized adjustments, intrinsic to the chair (variable height via column, simultaneous and/or independent adjustment of leg section and backrest, adjustment of seat tilt/trendelenburg or shock-position), it adapts to the surgeon’s needs by facilitating him or her in patient accommodation maneuvers even in emergency situations (CPR).

As a result of the articulated top, the special shape and size of the backrest, the height adjustment of the top, the ergonomics, and all the possible postures that can be achieved through the available drives, this device ensures high comfort for both patient and surgeon.

- All chair movements are controlled by a perimeter hand control equipped with a 3.5 m coiled cable. The hand control is easy to use as it is made with large raised pictograms and is also suitable for visually impaired patients. The hand control has 10 keys with 2 memories. For patient safety, the hand control is equipped with a key for control inhibition – Equipment code AC34P. IP66 insulation.
- The armrests are integral and synchronous to the movement of the backrest, rotatable, adjustable in height, tilt up/down and 90° folding – Equipment code AC30/C1. Unique multifunction armrest useful for agocannula insertion, micrometrically adjustable.
- Double-sided support for push-button panel-Equipment code AC25P.
- Carrying handle-Equipment code AC56/C1. Handles placed on the backrest and knobs placed on the leg section. With such solutions, the device can be moved easily both front and rear.
